Loughbrickland

The warrant to establish the Loughbrickland Branch was issued on 16th January 1931 and the first branch meeting took place on 19th January 1931.

The first Branch Chairman was Rev T Martin. The branch standard was presented to the branch by Lt Col W H Whyte DSO and was dedicated in Aghaderg Parish Church by Rev E Burns MA on 10 November 1935.

The branch leased premises in the village from 1 November 1932 until 1 January 1974 and has held its meetings in Banbridge Royal British Legion since then.  In 2020 we acquired premises just outside the village in the grounds of the old primary school and have held our meetings there since then.
