Little Common Branch raised over £13,000 during 2023/2024, which compares very favourably with the previous year. Well done to all our volunteer collectors and a big "Thank You" to all the people of Little Common who are always so generous.

Poppy People Needed

Although the Poppy Appeal is a year-round activity, the two-week period prior to Remembrance Sunday sees the familiar poppy sellers out and about raising funds for the vital work of supporting service men and women past and present.

These volunteers form the tip of the iceberg, beneath which further help is needed to make up the trays of poppies, distribute them to collectors and local businesses and then collect them after Remembrance Sunday. Finally, the proceeds need to be counted, banked and properly recorded.
