Leigh-on-Sea Poppy Appeal 2025

We raised an amazing £43,568.96 during the 2025 Leigh-on-Sea Poppy Appeal, so a huge thanks to everyone that has supported us. This includes all the shops, businesses, schools, churches and clubs that have allowed us to collect on their premises; the lovely youth organisations who collected in the streets, including the Sea Cadets Southend on Sea, 3rd Chalkwell Bay Sea Scouts and the Army Cadets; all the amazing volunteers who stood collecting in the streets, in supermarkets, in stations and at the Pier.

Thanks also to everyone who worked in the background preparing for the Launch, attending the Launch, delivering and then collecting tins, and counting all the money.

Leigh-on-Sea Poppy Appeal 2024

Due to the hard work of everyone who supported the Royal British Legion 2024 Poppy Appeal in Leigh-on-Sea, we raised £38061.30. There was amazing support from volunteers who, amongst other things, worked behind the scenes to prepare for the Launch, delivered tins and poppies, stood at supermarkets and stations, and collected on the streets and from neighbours. Thanks to all the local businesses, churches, etc. who also willingly supported the Poppy Appeal by facilitating donations.

Last, but certainly not least, a huge, huge thanks to everyone who  very generously donated to the Leigh-on-Sea Poppy Appeal. All these donations help support our Armed Forces community and are very much appreciated.
