Cecil Knight: 1926 - 1917

Born in Bolton Lancashire in 1926 and during WW2 served in the Royal Navy for some time on the treacherous Arctic runs.

Cecil never forgot his Lancashire background or his accent, one of his favourite sayings was "Eee Champion" 

Cecil was a true gentleman who had a tremendous sense of humour and was loved by all those who knew him.

He will be sorely missed. Rest in Peace Cecil.

Brian Trott

Brian had served as a short service regular officer in the fifties as a member of the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME). He had served in Libya and during the Suez crisis.

Brian was an ever present at all our functions. He was a true gentleman, always laughing and great company, his presence will be missed by us all.
