Horndon on the Hill

The Royal British Legion is recognised as the national custodian of Remembrance.

Remembrance Sunday, the second Sunday in November, is the day traditionally put aside by the nation to remember all those who have given their lives for the peace and freedom we enjoy today.

This is not the same as The Armistice which commemorates the end of hostilities in 1918 and is commemorated on November 11th at 11 o'clock
