Below is a list of dates for your diary on what's happening in the Holmes Chapel Branch of The Royal British Legion.

This year in conjunction with the Parish Council & other Organisations in Holmes Chapel, we are putting on events all over the VE Day weekend. On the 8th we are holding a small service at the Memorial starting at 2.45pm with the VE75 poem. This will be followed by the Exhortation and Last Post, the 2 minutes silence followed by Reveille. At 3pm the Piper will play Battles O'er followed by the new piece of music specially written for the VE 75th. Events on the Saturday have yet to be confirmed. There will be a Church service on Sunday, this will be held at the sports hall at the local Comprehensive. We are hoping to put other Branch events on during the year. There will be some sort of Commemoration for VJ 75th.
