I would add my thanks to Steve Roden for the memorial being the picture that it is and also to Adrian Morris, Tim Hart and their wives for their part in moving the flag pole - and of course to Richard Coe and Stiff who's invaluable help insured its perfect siteing. Now we all know that in any village or town there is an element of michevious youth - yes we too were young but I would like to record the pride that I have in the young people of haughley for respecting the memorial and our sometimes maybe short services that we hold around that said site. You will now see the flag pole behind the memorial.
