Armed Forces Day 28th June 2014 almost to the hour in 1914 when the assassination that caused WW1 one was in process veterans or WW2 and 16 conflicts since met at the village memorial to honour those men and their comrades and friends that laid down their young lives so that we may enjoy the freedom we do today. 48 veterans and family enjoyed a few hours together over lunch prepared by our secretary and her band of helpers they have our heart felt thanks.
