HALSTEAD BRANCH POPPY APPEAL

Each year we are grateful to the people of Halstead who contribute to the poppy appeal.  We are also exceptionally grateful to those who help us achieve it, 1163 Sqn. RAF Cadets who collect for the whole two weeks in Halstead High Street, the Volunteer Poppy Collectors who stand in key places about the town, those who go door to door and all the Local Shops who agree to have collection tins at their premises.  Each penny and each pound counts towards our figure and every penny of that is sent through to the Royal British Legion to carry out their works in assisting others. 

Finally, a big THANK YOU to our Poppy Appeal Coordinator, Shirley Wiseman who handles all the details each and every year.
