The Halstead Royal British Legion applied for and was granted funds from the Lottery Community Fund. We'd like to thank all those who take part in the National Lottery each week for making these grants possible and the Lottery fund for granting our application.
We were granted £2,200 to spend in local stores with the aim of reconnecting the community with the high street after the Pandemic.
In addition, we were granted £1,000 to spend in Halstead High Street on Children's Treasure Hunt Prizes.
We'd like to thank the businesses in Halstead High Street who provided prizes free of charge and asked for their funds to go towards events and prizes on the day.
Next we'd like to thank the shops in Halstead High Street who agreed to become involved with the event, allowed us to make a purchase from their shop with Lottery Funds and then provided a voucher as an additional prize.
