ELY POPPY APPEAL
The Poppy Appeal is more than a fundraising campaign. It is the Royal British Legion's year-round appeal, providing vital support to serving personnel, veterans and their families whenever they need it.
Thanks to the generosity of the people of Ely, the 2025/26 Poppy Appeal raised an outstanding £55,486.19.
The City of Ely Poppy Appeal team would like to thank everyone who donated, volunteered, displayed collection boxes, hosted collections, or helped promote the Appeal. We are especially grateful to the many local businesses, organisations and community groups whose support makes the Appeal such a success.
Your generosity enables the Royal British Legion to continue supporting members of the Armed Forces community facing hardship, injury and bereavement, and helps ensure that help is available whenever it is needed.

POPPY PEOPLE
Volunteers are the heart of the Poppy Appeal. Whether you can spare a few hours during the Remembrance period, help with poppy distribution, support collections, or assist behind the scenes, your contribution can make a real difference.
Just a few hours of your time each year can help raise vital funds for the Armed Forces community.
You do not need to be a member of the Royal British Legion to get involved, and full support and guidance will be provided.
If you would like to volunteer, host a collection box, or learn more about supporting the Poppy Appeal, please contact our Poppy Appeal Organiser Janette Palmer - her details are on the Branch information page..
