Branch members and veterans are invited to take part in the Remembrance Parade in memory of those who served and those who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.

PARADE ASSEMBLY 

10:00 am – Parade participants to assemble at the College.

10:15 am – Veterans to muster at the College.

10:30 am – All other parade participants to be in place.

10:45 am – The parade will depart for the War Memorial.

ACT OF REMEMBRANCE – WAR MEMORIAL

10:30 am onwards – Members of the public are invited to assemble at the War Memorial in preparation for the arrival of the parade and the Act of Remembrance.

MARCH PAST AND SALUTE

Following the conclusion of the Act of Remembrance, the parade will conduct a formal March Past. The salute will be taken by the Michael Sandys, Deputy Lord-Lieutenant of Leicestershire, representing His Majesty The King.

HEMINGTON REMEMBRANCE SERVICE

Once the parade has been dismissed you are invited to make your way to the War Memorial in Hemington for their Remembrance Service, which wil begin at 12.00.

REFRESHMENTS

Refreshments will be available in the Church Hall for those taking part in the Parade in Castle Donington and the Hemington Service.  

A TIME TO REMEMBER SERVICE AT ST. EDWARD'S CHURCH

4.00pm - You are invited to the annual service remembering those who lost their lifes fighting for their country and those members of the whole community who have passed away.

Refreshments will be served afterwards.
