2025 Camborne Commemorate V.E. Day

Camborne's VE Day 80 commemorations started at 9am with the raising of the VE Day 80 flag above the Passmore Edwards Building with the VE Day proclamation by the Mayor.
Later at approximately 10.45am, there was a service at the War Memorial at St Martin & St Meriadoc Church, Camborne with Camborne Branch of The Royal British Legion, following which Camborne Library hosted a street party for invited library users.  
The commemorations end with a free event in Camborne Recreation Ground from 8.45pm, featuring Holman-Climax Male Voice Choir, a ceremony by Camborne Branch of The Royal British Legion ending with the lighting of the VE Day 80 beacon, synchronising with the lighting of a thousand beacons nationwide at 9.30pm.
