The Callington and District branch had been formed over 40 years ago but was eventually forced to close when membership fell to 3 and it was merged with the Liskeard Branch. After many years David Jones decided to reform the Branch in 2008, taking on the role of chairman until his premature demise in 2015, and the Callington and District Branch now has 50 members on the books.
