What is happening in the Local Area of The Royal British Legion.

As you may have noticed, the building is in much need of attention inside and out due to a Compulsory Purchase Order placed on the building for many years. Financially the Branch has suffered due to the closer of the Club, as there is no longer a Club the building in no longer insured for use by its members. Until such time that insurance and repairs worthy of its members can take place we are unfortunately unable to open the building. Revenue from letting the flat and renting the upstairs hall to Mosaic churh on Sundays, has helped cover costs such as utilites and council tax.
