2024 Poppy Appeal - There was the usual shortage of volunteers but, thanks largely to Gary Wood, Cpl Ashley Martin and our own hard-working lady members, we were able to have a very popular Poppy stand at Sainsburys throughout the fortnight. When Phil and I visited County HQ last week a very hard-working band of volunteers, led by Peter Wakeham, were still counting enormous amounts of notes and coins from Surrey collections.
