All meetings will be held at Knaphill Working Man’s Club and commence at 1930hrs

Armed Forces Day

This years Armed Forces Day takes place on Saturday 28th June. We are hoping to host a formal dinner to mark this date in our calendar and more information will be published when it is available. 

Armed Forces Day takes place on the last Saturday each June. It is a chance to show your support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community: from currently serving personnel to Service families, veterans and cadets. It also marks the culmination of a week of celebrations, beginning on Monday 24 June, when the public show their support and appreciation for the Armed Forces community. Remembrance

Remembrance is always the Branch’s busiest time of the year.

In the UK, Remembrance Day is held every year on the second Sunday of November. Remembrance Day grew from, and is also closely linked to, Armistice Day. Armistice Day is November 11. It marks the signing of the First World War-ending Armistice on November 11, 1918.
