Billericay Branch continually promote Remembrance in many ways throughout the year, be it with support from local schools, churches, shops and Cadet Organisations, organised veterans talks with the local youth organisations in the town to veterans lunches.

As a town, the people of Billericay year on year continue to give generously to the appeal, each year achiving a larger total than the previous year.

Our branch is always looking for volunteers to help support the poppy appeal which runs for the 2 weeks prior to 11th November each year.  If you are able to help, with any of the following, please contact us:

• Preparing collecting tins and product packs;
• Street collections;
• Delivering pack to local schools and businesses;
• Counting money.

Our Poppy Appeal Organiser, Carole Gannon, is always happy to hear from you and it isn't a pre-requisite to help us that you have to be a member of The Legion.
