Royal British Legion Berlin Branch Christmas Party 02.12.2023

Our annual Christmas Party was held this year in the Seniorenclub Weverstrasse in Spandau. We started at 14:00 hours with a Sekt Reception while preparations were being made in the main Hall.

After opening the doors to the main Hall, people then proceeded to seat themselves at the Festively decorated tables.

Our Chairman Jack Knox welcomed everyone and thanks were given to everyone involved in the preparations and hard word with this event.

There was a delicious Christmas meal and many thanks to Mike, Manfred and Snowy for their hard work in the Kitchen.

Music was provided by Silver-wings with a selection of Christmas Songs and other music.

There was also a raffle which was kindly donated by members of our club and was greatly received. There was also a quiz which was also very much enjoyed.

One of our members Christal Rusher recited a Christmas poem which was a mixture German and English (Dinglish) so many thanks to Christal.

Then we proceeded to sing Christmas Carols, accompanied by Ben Woodward on the Keyboard.

The evening highlight was topped off with the Hokey Cokey, which was a pleasure to watch.
