Thank you to all who took part in last night’s charity Pub Quiz at The Cock.

After a closely fought contest The Legionnaires were unable to retain their crown but did finish a respectable second.

Both the winning team "Only Here For The Potatoes" and The Legionnaires kindly donated their prize money to the Poppy Appeal meaning that the total raised was a marvellous £136.04.

Many thanks to landlord Paul Riley and his team for the hospitality and roast potatoes. We look forward to the next Poppy Appeal quiz night in 2017.
