We are sad to announce that Branch member Frank Hooton passed away on Monday 3rd October.
A Royal Navy D-Day veteran who served on landing craft, Frank was a staunch supporter of the both the branch and as a collector for the Poppy Appeal, even when his eyesight began to fail.
The funeral will take place on Monday 24th October at 2.00pm at St. Mary's Church Baldock.
This will be followed by a private service at the crematorium, the congregation are invited to attend The Orange Tree, Norton Road, Baldock.
It is requested that flowers are from family members only. Any donations in lieu should kindly be made to The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.
