RBL Remembrance Parade and Service to be held on Sunday 10th November 2024.
The Parade will form on the Alsager Civic Centre car park at 2.10pm. The RBL Stewards will line up the parade in the usual order.
The Parade will move off at 2.30pm. There will be a wreath laying ceremony and Act of Remembrance at the War Memorial in Sandbach Road South, starting at approximately 2.40pm. As in previous years, the youth groups will be drawn up immediately in front of the Memorial, leaving spaces for those laying wreaths to pass through. After the ceremony, the parade will reform and march to St Mary’s Church, Crewe Road, for the Remembrance Service, starting at 3pm.
Members of the Branch will also hold the traditional Act of Remembrance at the War Memorial in Sandbach Road South at 11am on Monday 11th November (Armistice Day). There will be no formal parade on that occasion.
Remembrance Parade 2023
Thank you to all who took part in and attended our Remembrance Parade yesterday. It seems to get bigger every year.
Special thanks to WO2 Rich Joynes who led our parade and Act of Remembrance. Thank you for volunteering your precious time.
The level of support we receive on Remembrance Day truly humbles us and we are very grateful.
If you know of anyone who would benefit from our support or if you wish to join us (civilians are welcome), please contact us.
