Welcome to the National Branches District

Welcome to the website for the National Branches District of The Royal British Legion, comprising nine National Branches with a membership of just over 22,000. As the name implies, a National Branch has no geographical boundaries, but covers not only England, Wales and Northern Ireland, but also many countries throughout the world.

We administer and support the delivery of welfare services and the membership and fundraising activities of the Legion's branches throughout the National District.

Membership of The Royal British Legion is available to all adults, not just members or ex-members of the forces and we always welcome new members.

For joining, please use https://selfservice.britishlegion.org.uk/addmember/details

Youth membership is NOT available online as a parent/guardian has to sign the form.

Membership applications can also be processed by phoning 0800 802 8080.
