The Royal British Legion provides financial, social and emotional support to millions who have served and are currently serving in the Armed Forces, and their dependent’s. Currently, nearly 9.5 million people are eligible for our support and we receive thousands of calls for help every year.

Our mission is to be the No.1 provider of welfare, comradeship, representation and Remembrance for the Armed Forces community.

We are best-known for our role as the nation's custodian of Remembrance and for the Poppy Appeal which we organise annually but remembrance and fundraising is only one aspect of what we’re about. Through various campaigns, fundraisers, events and welfare service offerings, the Legion works to provide financial, social and emotion support to service people, past and present, and their dependents.
