REMEMBRANCE 2021

Every poppy makes a difference to the lives of our Armed Forces community.

Like so many things in 2020 last year's Poppy Appeal was forced to adapt to the threat of Covid-19. With millions of people across the UK unable to leave their homes to find a poppy, and with collectors unable to carry out face to face collections, the RBL called on the nation to show their support from home.

Whether you donated for poppies in the post, displayed a poppy in your window, fundraised for the Poppy Appeal or took on a virtual Poppy Run, there were many ways to show your support for the Armed Forces community remotely. 

Thank you to everyone who got involved and supported the 2020 Poppy Appeal.

The National Poppy Appeal, taking place in our centenary year, will be launched on Thursday 28th October 2021. 

Once again Great Western is supporting 'Poppies to Paddington' and wreaths will be placed on board the 06:43 Hereford to London Paddington service on Thursday 11th November 2021.

The total amount collected by the county will be published here as soon as the figures are available (usually by the end of January).
