Do you have a few hours to spare each week? Would you like to make a difference to the lives of members of the Armed Forces community?
Our volunteers make a huge contribution to the Legion’s welfare and support work. The Royal British Legion has a range of voluntary roles available, with varying flexibility, depending on the time you have available and what you wish to gain from the experience.
Active Members, supporting the Legion in a voluntary capacity, are crucial to the successful operation of our Branches and to the Legion’s work across the country.
County, District and Branch officials and committee members are primarily elected positions open to Legion members, but there are also a number of specialist appointments.
Training is available for all Membership roles and you will be working closely with other local Branch and County/District members and volunteers.
If you are a Legion member who would like to play a more active role, take a look at our Introduction to Volunteering for members or call our Contact Centre on 0808 802 8080 to find out more.
If you can help by becoming a Branch Community Supporter please contact Rob Bartlett, County Welfare Officer here
