Ex-Service Personnel Programme offers Volunteering Opportunities With Derby County
Derby County Community Trust have recently teamed up with the Royal British Legion and Armed Forces Covenant to expand their free physical activity offer.
As part of the new partnership, the programme will offer a Sporting Memories and befriending service element, giving participants the chance to become volunteers and get involved in the delivery of physical activity sessions across Derbyshire in a range of different programmes.
Volunteers will be fully integrated into the Derby County Community Trust staff team, with those who excel being offered training opportunities around Sports Leadership and Football Coaching, potentially leading to casual coaching vacancies or part-time / full-time employment.
If you would like more information about getting involved, visit: http://www.derbycountycommunitytrust.com/programmes/health/ or call the Derby County Community Trust office on 01332 416140 or email Nazia.Parveen@dcct.co.uk.
