Remembrance

The Royal British Legion is recognized as the national custodian of Remembrance.

Remembrance Sunday, the second Sunday in November, is the day traditionally put aside to remember all those who have given their lives for the peace and freedom we enjoy today.

Remembrance Day in 2019, falls on Sunday the 10th of November. The annual Spondon Remembrance Day parade will start at approximately 10am from the Village Hall car park on Sitwell Street heading to St. Werburgh's church for the service of Remembrance.
