Memorial at St. Gluvias with Penryn Parish Church

There are three memorials here, WW1 on and at the base of the Cross, WW2 on a tablet below the Cross which also includes the names of civilians killed in the town. Inscription on the Cross reads: To the Memory of the men from the parish of St. Gluvias with Penryn who gave their lives that we might live in peace 1914-1919.

Penryn Memorial Gardens

On a plaque in the Memorial Gardens the folling is written:

Borough of Penryn. These gardens have been provided to remind all who see them that on this site stood homes which were destroyed during an enemy air raid in the early morning of May 13th 1941 when 18 lives were lost.

Their names appear on a tablet at the foot of the memorial at St. Gluvias Church.
