Below is a list of dates for your diary on what's happening in the Mawdesley Branch of The Royal British Legion.

**Friday 23rd March 2018. Easter Bingo at Mawdesley Village Hall. Doors open 18.45pm. Eyes down 19.30pm.  Prizes for a line, two lines and a full house.  Tea, Coffee and biscuits served at the interval.  Raffle available.  Come and join us for an evening of Easter fun.

**Friday 14th September 2018. Brass Band Concert at Mawdesley Village Hall. Doors open 18.45pm.  Brass Band, The Red Admirals Music Academy.  This is our annual concert and is well attended. The bar will be open. Everyone gets a Pasty at the interval. Ticket price £9 and will be available to purchase nearer to the date from the committee or SPAR.

**Saturday 20th October 2018. Coffee morning and the launch of the Poppy Appeal at Mawdesley Village Hall. Doors open 10am. A selection of sandwiches, cakes and biscuits will be available with your tea / coffee. Bring and Buy stall and a raffle. Come get your Poppy merchandise and meet the committee of Mawdesley Branch RBL. Tickts £3.00

** Saturday 3th November 2018. Lancashire County Service of Remembrance, Calderstones, Whalley.  Time TBC. Please note this is the site of a secure hospital, no chidren under 18years are permitted to attend.

**Sunday 11th November 2018. Remembrance Sunday.   Church Service commences at 11am at St Peters Cof E Church, High Street, Mawdesley. 

**Rememberance Parade Sunday 11th November. Meet at the crossroads of Gorsey Lane and Smithy Lane at 14.40, for parade through the village to War Memorial for 15.00 service.
