Camborne RBL's VJ Day 14th August 2015
Gathering at the Camborne Cenotaph, situated at 
Camborne Parish Church
The service was attend by roughly 30 people which included  the 
Commanding Officer from Culdrose Captain Adrian Orchard OBE .
Our Bugler was the excellent Gillian Allen, the West Briton photographer was also inattendance

Camborne RBL have managed to get the WW1 Memorial that they had for the 2014 Youth Service in Camborne Parish Church,
the WW1 Memorial is on long term loan to Camborne RBL and on display at Camborne Parish Church. 
The WW1 Memorial was a concept and production by Ocean Housing who own it, the design was by Kimberely Gould of St. Michael’s Catholic Secondary School.  
Camborne RBL plan to have a inscribed plaque made to be left in front of the WW1 Memorial while it is in the church. 

The affiliated partnership between Camborne Royal British Legion and Camborne Rotary draws to an end in June 2015.
Camborne Rotary has been absolutely brilliant with helping the
Camborne RBL during our Poppy Appeals for many years.

70th Anniversary of Victory in Europe Day at Camborne Cenotaph

Camborne Branch of The Royal British Legion held their
70th Victory in Europe Day Remembrance Service at
Camborne Parish Church Cenotaph
on Friday the 8th May 2015 at 11.00.
The Service was taken by Jon Belfield
Standard bearers were
Peter Treloar with the Dunkirk Veterans
and
John   Hayes with The Union
The young Bugler, 11 year old Siana Rouse was noted as excellent.
