REMEMBRANCE PARADE – SUNDAY 12th NOVEMBER 2023
Timings (These are subject to change at short notice)
Outline:
10:00 - Club opens for Paradng Members for coffee and tea and social gathering after the parade
10:40 - Parade forms up on the road
10:55 - Service at Broadstone Memorial
11:30 - Service at St John's Church commences
12:30 - Lunch is available for RBL members in the Club

Memorial Service
The service at the Memorial will be led by the Branch and include a Welcome from the Branch Chairman, Address from the Clergy, Exhortation by the Branch President, The Last Post, a Two Minute Silence, Reveille, The Kohima Prayer by the Branch President, and the laying of wreaths and Prayers.
Wreath Layers – (Wreaths to be laid at the Memorial by)
- RBL Branch and Women’s Section
- The three services, laid by serving personnel or veterans representing each service
- Local government and community leaders
- Military Veterans Associations
- Cadets & Youth Groups
- Broadstone Community Groups
2 x hanging wreaths to be laid at St John's Church by RBL Branch.
Church Service
After the service at the War Memorial, the Parade will march to St John’s Church on McCauley Road for a Remembrance Service. Our Youth Groups will provide the prayers within the service and conduct a collection to the Poppy Apeal.
